Like controlled acquisition, personnel infiltration is a specific investigative method known as chameleon investigation. It has the ability to provide information that is unobtainable by other classical methods and is intended for companies operating warehouses, factories or companies with a large number of employees and/or technological processes. Personnel infiltration has been developed as an alternative to the classical investigative variants because it has undeniable advantages: it is fast (much faster than checking the documentation of a large number of operational and technological processes), accurate and direct (it involves collecting information in real time, directly from the source), with the ability to uncover incipient fraud schemes, not only those in progress.
